Traditional Cusco + 01 Night In Machupicchu 7 Days / 6 Nights

DAY 1: CITY TOUR CUSCO + NEARBY RUINS

Upon arrival in Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel. We will provide you the information about the trips we will make. At 12:30 hours, we will pick you up at your hotel to visit the KORICANCHA or Temple of the Sun, the main religious center of the Incas; then we will visit SACSAYHUAMAN (a great Inca fortress located 5 km from the city), QENQO (sacred amphitheater and worship center to the god Puma, a place where human sacrifices were made), PUCAPUCARA (“red fortress” due to the hue of the rocks with the twilight light) and TAMBOMACHAY (temple to worship the water). We will finish the tour at approximately 18:00 hours. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN (B-L)

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 a.m. We will go to the town of Pisac, we will visit the artisanal market and part of the archaeological group, we will pass through Coya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba, in this last place we will have the buffet lunch. We will continue the trip to the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo. After this visit in the afternoon, we will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Reception at the train station and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation night.

DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY TOUR (B)

In the morning after breakfast, we will transfer to the bus station, there we will take the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machupicchu, where we will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel, such as: El Mirador, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Square, etc., this visit will allow us to appreciate the high level of development of the Andean civilization through the Incas. In the afternoon we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. Then take the train that will bring us back to Cusco. Transfer from the train station to the Hotel.

DAY 4: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR (B-L)

We will pick you up at your hotel between 04:30 and 05:00 am., To go to the Community of Chillihuani, the trip in tourist transport is about 3 hours, on the route we will take breakfast enjoying also beautiful views of the Ausangate Snowy, the guide will provide the necessary specifications to start the walk, this from the foot of the Ausangate Snowy; the ascent to the Mountain of Colors will be on average of 2 hours, already in the place we will have time to rest, appreciate and take photos of this beauty landscape, do not forget that the ascent is from 4,100 to 5,200 meters above sea level. Then we will begin the descent by the same way, the walking time will be less, about 1 hour, on the route we will have time for lunch, then we will continue the return until we reach the departure point of the walk, where we will board the bus. Return to the city of Cusco, we will arrive at approximately 5:00 p.m. Accommodation night in Cusco.

DAY 5: SALT MINES OF MARAS AND MORAY TOUR (B)

The tour starts with pick-up at your hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 am. then we will depart by bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on our way to Moray (3200 m.), we will pass the bucolic field, where you can find the small family farms of corn. Then we will have time to explore the Inca ruins of Moray, an agricultural laboratory that includes a set of concentric circular terraces, in each terrace there are different microclimates, each one representing an altitude difference of 1000 M. under normal growing conditions. The guide will give us details about the construction, design and use of the site.

Our next stop will be in the Salt Mines of Maras, located 40 kilometers from Cuzco in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, these mines are constituted by some 3000 wells of extremely salty water, which runs through the various wells, so when the water evaporates, salt formations remain, ready to be treated and consumed. After this guided tour, we will board the return bus to Cusco. Accommodation night.

DAY 6: HUMANTAY LAGOON TOUR (B-L)

The tour begins with the pick up at your hotel between 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., then we will have a trip of 2 hours and 30 minutes in tourist transport, we will go to the town of Mollepata where we will have time to have breakfast. Then we will continue the trip for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Sector of Soraypampa, in this place we will start the trek, we will ascend by beautiful places with wonderful landscapes, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive at the Humantay Lagoon (4.2.5.0. m.a.s.l). where the guide will explain the place and origin of this beautiful lagoon.

After our visit we will start the return to Soraypampa, where the bus will be waiting for us, then we will go to the town of Mollepata where we will have lunch, then we will take the bus back to the city of Cusco, we will be arriving at 05:30 pm approximately, the bus will leave you in a place near the Plaza de Armas.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE DAY (B)

After breakfast transfer to the airport.
