Mountain of Colors Tour
The Mountain of Colors Tour, is a great alternative for those travelers who want to enjoy nature and a walk in a single day, in this route you will be able to appreciate beautiful views of the mountains, snowy mountains and landscapes, when you reach the Mountain of Colors, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and its impressive colors, which obey the presence of minerals of which it is composed. This colorful mountain is located in the Cordillera del Vilcanota, which will also allow us to observe the majestic Nevado del Ausangate.
Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel between 04:30 and 05:00 a.m., to go to the Community of Chillihuani (3,890 m.a.s.l.), located south of Cusco, the tour in tourist transport lasts 3 Approximately hours, on the route we will have breakfast enjoying also beautiful views of the Ausangate, the guide will provide the necessary specifications to start the trek.
Then we will start the walk from the foot of the Ausangate, the ascent to the Seven Colors Mountain will be an average of 2 hours, already in the place we will have time to rest and take the necessary photos of this beauty landscape, do not forget that the ascent is from 4,100 to 5,200 meters above sea level. Then we will begin the descent along the same path, the walking time will be less, about 1 hour, on the route we will have time for lunch, then we will continue our return until we reach the starting point of the hike, where we will board the bus. return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm and leave it near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
