Humantay Lagoon Tour
The Humantay Lagoon Tour, is a new and alternative route to the classics, can be done in a single day, this lagoon is a new natural attraction that is located northwest of the city of Cusco in the district of Mollepata and Anta province ( route to the Nevado Salkantay), which is being visited by many tourists due to the beautiful landscapes that surround the lagoon, this attraction has its origin in the thaw of the Nevado Humantay (5.4.5.0. m.a.s.l.) which is located in the Peruvian central Andes.
The tour begins with the pick up at your hotel between 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., then we will have a trip of 2 hours and 30 minutes in tourist transport, we will go to the town of Mollepata where we will have time to have breakfast. Then we will continue the trip for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Sector of Soraypampa, in this place we will start the trek, we will ascend by beautiful places with wonderful landscapes, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive at the Humantay Lagoon (4.2.5.0. m.a.s.l). where the guide will explain the place and origin of this beautiful lagoon.
After our visit we will start the return to Soraypampa, where the bus will be waiting for us, then we will go to the town of Mollepata where we will have lunch, then we will take the bus back to the city of Cusco, we will be arriving at 05:30 pm approximately, the bus will leave you in a place near the Plaza de Armas.
